Every family attending Relay Finals must work one job. Jobs will open up on swimtopia at 8pm on 6/16. Any unfilled jobs by 12pm on 6/18 will be assigned to families. 


Please note: This is an invitational event. Swimmers will be notified by coaching staff by Tuesday, the week of the meet.

Coach Appreciation Week
GVST Pool

Swimmers can write a message or draw a picture for their coach with sidewalk chalk or use construction paper and markers. We will have a table with these items available for your swimmers to use!

We've attached a list of each coach's favorite things, in case any families would like to purchase a gift during the week.

Please remember: gifts are completely optional and never expected. A handmade card, kind note, or drawing means just as much (often more!) and is always appreciated.

Volunteer Assignments:
Please note that some volunteer roles are assigned by event range. Traditional swim meets are divided into two halves:

  • First half: Events #1–#36
  • A short break follows Event #36 (approximately 15 minutes)
  • Second half: Events #37–#82

  • Swimmer Declaration:
    Please declare your swimmer no later than Wednesday of the week of the swim meet.
  • This is a split swim meet
  • Older swimmers (ages 9+)
    • Swim during the first half
    • Start time: approximately 8:30 AM
    • Arrival time: no later than 7:30 AM (for check-in and warm-ups)
    • Events 1-56
    • Please plan for extra time for traffic and parking. The meet will start with relays. 

    Parent relay (4x25) during the break! Sign up on band app! 


  • Younger swimmers (ages 5–8)
    • Swim during the second half
    • Start time: approximately 11:00 AM
    • Arrival time: no later than 10:00 AM (for check-in)
    • There are no warm up times for younger swimmers
    • Events 57-82
    • Please plan for extra time for traffic and parking. The meet will start with relays and this is one of the reasons we are having an early check in time.
