Hello GVST Families,

We are pleased to inform you that the Green Valley Swim Team has been approved by the Green Valley Homeowners Recreation Association to hold a modified spring and summer swim team clinic this year, running 16 weeks, from April 12th, through July 31st.

Similar to last summer’s modified GVST program and the recent stroke clinics, swimmers will be placed in groups that will practice on Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday. Practice groups will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Registration Dates

Registration will take place completely online, and will be opened on gvdolphins.org on the following dates and times:

March 1st, 8:00pm: Green Valley Residents and returning swimmers

March 15th, 8:00pm: Non-resident new swimmers (if space is available)

At this time, you will not need to sign up for volunteer jobs, as there are not any swim meets nor social events currently scheduled.

Registration Fees

Green Valley Residents: $275

Non-residents: $325

Swimmers 15 and up: $125

Due to the ongoing challenges related to COVID-19, the following procedures will continue:

-Practice sessions will be limited to 2 swimmers per lane.

-Swimmers will enter via the front gate and exit via the bathroom gate.

-We will have a 15 minute buffer between sessions during which swimmers will enter/exit the pool.

-Coaches will not enter the water for the purposes of coaching. As a result, GVST will not offer learn to swim for those unable to swim on their own.

-We do not anticipate holding in person swim meets this summer.
