Swim Background and highlights:  I have been a swimmer since the age of 6, when I first joined Green Valley. From there, I joined the swim club FVAA and went on to swim 4 years of high school swimming and 1 year of college swimming. Personal achievements include Most Outstanding Overall boy when I was 12, winning the SCSC championship with Green Valley 3 years ago, winning the League Championship with my high school, and an NRT (National Reportable Time) in the Long Course 200 medley relay. My favorite stroke is freestyle, and my best race has almost always been the 50 free. This is my sixth year coaching, and my third year doing the lineup. One interesting thing about my swimming career is that, for one year, I was one of the best breaststrokers for my age. This was when I was younger, and every other year it has been my worst stroke.

How many years with Green Valley: This will be my 15th year with Green Valley as both a coach and swimmer.

Greatest Moment in the Water: I have two. First is achieving an NRT time with Adam Gonzales, Josh Torchia, and Sean Robbins in the 200 meter medley relay. We had been working for a long time to get an NRT, and after many failed attempts we finally got it. The other would be winning the SCSC championship. It was the only championship Green Valley has ever won, and it felt great to be a part of that after 12 years of swimming with Green Valley.

Website you visit the most: www.espn.com. I am a huge sports fan, particularly of the Lakers and the Dodgers, and check ESPN probably 10 times a day.

Favorite ice cream flavor: Mint oreo. Not many places have it, but I had it for the first time at Ben and Jerry's in San Francisco, so its available there.

If you were a pizza topping what would you be and why: I would be bacon. Mostly because I really love bacon.

2 truths and 1 lie:
-I have never traveled outside of the country.
-When I was in 5th grade, I got my black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
-Last fall, I went windsurfing in Boston, and it was the most amazing experience of my
